APPLICATION

Directions:  Use this product in a manner consistent with it labeling.

Dispensing Directions:  To start feed, remove cover.  From the center of the roll, pull up a towelette corner, twist into a point and thread through the blue hole located in the center of the cover.  Pull through about one (1) inch.  Replace cover.  Pull the first towelette up and tear off at an angle.  The remaining wipes will feed automatically, ready for the next use.  When not in use, keep blue cap securely closed to prevent evaporation.

Preparation:  Heavily soiled, greasy or rusted surfaces may require repeated pre-cleaning.  On hard, non-porous surfaces and articles, use a fresh towelette to thoroughly wet and pre-clean the surface.  Allow surfaces to remain wet for 1 minute or allow surfaces to air dry.

Method of Application:  Wipe the surface with a clean face of the towelette by folding as Illustrated below.

Step 1: Fold in half again to make a quarter-fold wipe

Step2: Flatten the wipe

Step 3: Fold the wipe in half

Gloves and eye protection recommended.

By folding towelette, several clean surface areas are produced allowing better contact with a clean towelette surface.

Use a new pre-wetted towelette at each new location.

Wipe in one direction, overlapping wiped area.

Wipe from cleanest to least clean regions of the surface.  Wipe systematically, for example, from top to bottom or far to near.

Keep track of which surfaces have been cleaned and which towelette areas are unused.  Always use the cleanest surface of the towelette.  If re-wiping, use a clean portion of the towelette, not the used towelette area.  Dispose of towelette according to site procedures.

Tools Needed:  IPA Micro-Clean can be applied using the following:

  • Saturate towelette, wipe in one direction folding wipe in half, then in quarter folds.
  • You may also Mist solid surface with IPA Micro-Clean spray. Allow to set up to 1 minute, then wipe in one direction, folding wipe in half, then in quarter folds with each stroke.

Coverage:  Coverage depends on type of surface, i.e. countertops, desktops, railings, doorknobs, actuator buttons, etc. or equipment complexity, printer, mouse, kitchen appliances, etc.  Do not use the same towelette on multiple surfaces.  This can spread germs and dirt from one space to another

Limitations:  Do not apply in the following cases:

  • Do not wipe Hot surfaces or approach open flame
  • Do not apply to porous or fine wood surfaces.
  • May damage shellac mounting of lensed instruments, may swell and harden rubber and certain plastic tubing after prolonged and repeated use.
  • Not intended to sterilize medical devices or apparatus.
  • Do not dilute or combine with other products.
  • Do not flush towelette down toilet.
  • Do not use towelette if it has become dry.
  • Not for consumption.
